Chainsaw Man is a manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto. The story follows a young man named Denji, who lives a poor and lonely life in Tokyo, working as a devil hunter to pay off his deceased father’s debts.
One day, Denji makes a deal with a devil named Pochita, who transforms into a chainsaw and fuses with him to save his life. From that point on, Denji becomes known as the Chainsaw Man and gains the ability to transform his arms and head into chainsaws.
As a devil hunter, Denji works for the government’s Public Safety Division 4, fighting against other devils that threaten humanity. However, he soon finds himself embroiled in a larger conflict between humans and devils, as well as facing off against other devil hunters with their own agendas.
Chainsaw Man explores themes of humanity, identity, and the blurred lines between good and evil. It features intense action sequences, complex characters, and a dark and gritty tone. The series has gained popularity for its unique concept and storytelling, as well as its distinctive artwork and character designs.
You can always rely on manga comics to produce super bizarre concepts –like having a chainsaw for a head! With the anime CHAINSAW MAN out now, and so many cosplaying characters from the series that I’ve seen, here’s a drawing tutorial on Denji.
