Let’s go back in time, when there was no Internet. Back when there was no Wikipedia to tell you about comic book characters. Back when I was a kid with limited English, and no money to even purchase comic books.
There were trading cards.
In this episode, I tell you how I learned about the huge universe that is Marvel through trading cards, and how they also helped me to draw and speak English!
Read more about the card came, “teks”, here. And read more about the boom of the comic book trading card industry in the 1990s here.
I hope you gained a little more insight to how I’m such a comic book nerd. If you have any questions about the game teks, about these cards, or Marvel trading cards in general, definitely let me know in the comments!
Happy drawing,
Ramny
