Want to learn how to speak Shyriiwook (the Wookiee language) like Chewie or Han?
That’s what this video is all about! Now, I’m not the best Wookiee impersonator out there, so you’ll have to forgive me.
I’m testing out the new microphone, but I may have messed up the settings in this video hence it sounds echoey. I’ll make it sound better for next time, I promise.

Chewbacca’s voice was created by the original films’ sound designer, Ben Burtt, from recordings of walruses, lions, camels, bears, rabbits, tigers, and badgers in Burtt’s personal menagerie. The individual recordings were mixed at different ratios for Chewbacca’s different utterances.
