I’m just so glad we get to enjoy a Star Wars movie in the summer! We’ve drawn Chewbacca, so who else would we draw next but everyone’s favourite scruffy-looking nerf-herder, HAN SOLO.
I can’t picture anyone else in the Han Solo role other than Harrison Ford, so that’s the Han we’re drawing in this tutorial. I haven’t seen SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY yet, but I will admit that it will probably take a while before I accept Alden Ehrenreich as Han. He does have big shoes to fill.
Going into the movie I’m looking forward to seeing three things: 1) How Han meets Chewbacca, 2) The 12-parsec Kessel run, and 3) How Han inherits the Millennium Falcon. Get those three right and I’m a happy camper.

CHARACTER BIO:
Han Solo is a pilot from the planet Corellia, who is depicted as the second owner of the Millennium Falcon after winning the ship from Lando Calrissian in events prior to the films. In the original film trilogy, Han pilots the Falcon, along with his Wookiee co-pilot Chewbacca, whereby both pilots became involved in the Rebel Alliance’s struggle against the Galactic Empire. During the course of the Star Wars narrative, Han becomes a chief figure in the Alliance and succeeding galactic governments. In the sequel trilogy Han is portrayed as the husband of Princess Leia Organa and the father of fallen Jedi, Ben Solo, who, after falling to the dark side of the Force, became Kylo Ren.
