The cool thing about drawing VENOM is that you can go as crazy as you want with his face. Initially, when Todd McFarlane, one of Venom’s co-creators, designed Venom’s look, his face was a lot tamer and the texturing on the whole suit was a lot more smooth and matted. But over time, as the Venom character rose in popularity, his look became wilder, slimier, and more savage.
Anyway, speaking of Todd McFarlane, there’s a clip online somewhere in which he makes some minor tweaks to the Venom movie character’s overall look. I think he has some points. I do prefer Todd’s revisions, especially with the eyes. Check it out!

I probably won’t be doing a full body drawing for Venom as I have already drawn Venom three times by now. I’d like to do other characters as well.
