How to Draw WOLVERINE (X-Men Movie Franchise) Drawing Tutorial

posted in: Tutorials 0

With the news that Disney has finally acquired Fox’s properties, I wanted to draw the most iconic character from the Fox X-MEN movie franchise — Hugh Jackman’s WOLVERINE.

I have mixed feelings about this merger. For one, we should all be wary of corporations becoming too powerful, and Disney buying out its competition is certainly putting itself in the most powerful position in cinemas. But on the other hand, the X-Men and Fantastic Four are finally “home”!

For this tutorial you’ll need the MALE STANDING POSE VERSION 2 template first, which you can either download the template from my website or learn to draw:

Once you have that, you’re ready to begin!

Let me know what you think of Disney’s acquisition of Fox. Sound off in the comments below!

CHARACTER BIO:

Wolverine (born James “Jimmy” Howlett, usually referred to as Logan) was a mutant born with retractable forearm claws, enhanced physical parameters, and a powerful healing factor. Living for nearly two centuries, Logan’s life was filled with blood, hatred, war, suffering, and betrayal.

I’m a schoolteacher who has always loved to draw. One day, one of my students said, “Can you teach me how to draw Baymax from Big Hero Six?” Thus, the channel was born! I’m a big nerd who loves comic books, action figures, and movies. I live in the USA, but I’m actually Filipino-Canadian.
