As the Marvel Cinematic Universe progresses, the look of the characters evolve. For most of them I’m talking about costume changes, but for GROOT it’s a little bit different. He’s actually growing up.
We began with the adult Groot in the first Guardians movie, followed by a Baby Groot in a pot. Then in the second Guardians movie we see Baby Groot like a toddler. Well, for AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR we now see Groot as a teenager.
I’m excited to see what TEENAGE GROOT brings to the table in Infinity War. So here’s a tutorial for Teenage Groot for you to tide over while you wait for the movie!

CHARACTER BIO:
Groot is a sentient, tree-like individual and frequent accomplice of intergalactic criminal Rocket Raccoon. Together, the pair traveled the galaxy picking up bounties until they met Star-Lord and Gamora on Xandar. Subsequently the four of them were captured and put in the Kyln, where they also met Drax. In the Battle of Xandar, Groot sacrificed his own life to save his new friends. However part of his destroyed body was planted by Rocket who regrew a new Groot. Remaining with the Guardians, Groot continued to grow and started exhibiting the personality of an adolescent.
