What’s always been really interesting to me is how successful small entrepreneurs got started. Before I even started my YouTube channel, I looked at the channels I wanted to be like, and checked out their very first videos.
In fact that’s an awesome exercise. Go to your favorite channel right now, hit the “Videos” tab on their front page, then sort it by “date added (oldest)”.
What you’ll likely notice is exactly what I noticed with the channels I saw: poorer quality videos with formats that are probably so different than the types of videos those channels put out now.
That’s because as we creators make videos, we evolve. We make little changes and little tweaks here and there every so often, and they may all seem inconsequential until you add them all up.
Seeing those poorer quality videos was inspiring to me, because it made me realize that you don’t need to have everything figured out BEFORE you start. You can start, then figure it out as you go along.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the vlog and the story of how Baymax and a boy named Diesel sparked the idea for Draw it, Too!
Happy watching,
Ramny
(P.S. I hope you don’t mind the haven’t-showered look. Haha)
