With the success of the first Deadpool movie it was inevitable that they would introduce CABLE in the sequel. After all, they’re one of the best and funniest tag teams to come out of the X-universe. Casting Josh Brolin in the role? A brilliant idea. I was rooting for Liam Neeson for the role, to be honest — big, hulking, intimidating, and still able to kick ass even at an older age — but Josh Brolin is a great choice nevertheless.
Deadpool forming X-Force and Cable being the villain is a major departure from the comics. I’m pumped for DEADPOOL 2. I enjoyed the first film and from the trailers, this new movie is looking pretty good, too!
