I’ve done the comic book IRON FIST as a tutorial already, and I did mention back in that video that I wasn’t going to do a tutorial on the NETFLIX IRON FIST because he didn’t wear a costume (and you know me and my ‘no tutorial, no costume’ rule).
Today, however, I changed my mind. I’m allowed to do that, right?
Technically, DANNY RAND did not wear the comic Iron Fist costume in the show, but this shirtless Danny is still pretty distinguishable because of the curly locks, big fat dragon tattoo, and the fact that he’s shoeless. Out of context, he STILL is recognizable as Iron Fist.
So here you go: a tutorial for the MCU IRON FIST! One that many of you have been asking for since the Netflix TV show debuted last year. What better time to do a tutorial for him than now that THE DEFENDERS is coming!

CHARACTER BIO:
Daniel Thomas “Danny” Rand is the only child of the billionaire owners of Rand Enterprises who lost his parents in a plane crash which resulted in the young Rand being rescued by Monks and taken to K’un-Lun where he trained and eventually took the title of the Iron Fist. Rand returned to New York City to reclaim his name and soon fell into conflict against Hand when he had learned that Madame Gao was using his company to sell her own heroin. Rand challenged Gao and soon joined forces with his father’s ally Harold Meachum and Bakuto. However both Meachum and Bakuto soon turned against Rand, wishing to use the power of the Iron Fist for their own purposes, forcing Rand to defeat them both. Having at last fulfilled his mission to defeat the Hand, Rand returned to K’un-Lun with his new friend Colleen Wing, only to discover that the gate to the city has been closed while he was gone.
